Carbexx brings together different partners in the field of Nature Based Solutions (NBS). Project developers can showcase their projects and be found and contacted by potential investors. Investors can search for projects according to their needs and jointly realise projects through the platform. Through this, Carbexx aims to boost the global implementation of NBS projects.

The current development enables especially Project Developers and Investors to join, connect and act on the platform. Carbexx is currently working on its platform upgrade to make the platform utilizable for multiple additional partners in the field of Nature Based Solutions (Advisors, Tree Nurseries, Planting Organizations etc.).

The use of the Carbexx platform is free of charge for all parties.
After an organisation is registered by the Admin, additional users can be invited to the user account. Once the new user has been registered in the organisation account, an invitation will be sent to him in order to complete the registration. Users can thereafter be added to / or deleted from project assignments with different user rights.
Carbexx has developed a project ranking that classifies projects according to different categories. As the requirements of Investors and the character of NBS projects can differ considerably, the Carbexx Ranking aims to facilitate the matching process between projects and partners. The Ranking has 4 categories: Biodiversity, Social Impact, Sustainability and Project Management.
During the registration process of projects, Project Developers are requested to answer the ranking questionnaire in the four categories. Carbexx verifies the respective answers and requests supporting additional information and documents that serve to clarify the responses given. After final verification by the Carbexx team, the Project Ranking will be visible on the platform and in the project detail page.
For the registration and presentation of your projects, you are only required to disclose some limited information of your projects. However, the more information you provide and the more details you disclose of your projects, the more interesting the projects gets for potential investors. The input of detailed project information is especially important for the project search filter function. The more information you enter, the better your project will be found!
News & Stories: Carbexx also enables projects to regularly post stories, news and updates. This information is especially important to keep investors up to date and to give them realistic feedback and stories from the field. The more information you post and the more regular your stories are updated, the more interesting the project gets for an investor.
Financial Information: Not all projects can promptly deliver information on investment budgets, recurring ongoings costs and future returns of their projects. Nonetheless, these are very important information for Investors and other Finance Entities. We therefore strongly recommend that projects provide best approximations of their project finances. These can be entered in USD or EUR.
Carbexx is a multilingual platform to enable the exchange with as many participants as possible. For free-text information, you can use your home language to provide the information. You can also translate your text in several languages, to enable the exchange with a larger audience. If you choose to enter the information in a single language, we at Carbexx will one after the other take care of the translations.

On Carbexx, Project Developers and Project Owners have the full power over their respective project information. They can release detailed project information at any time to potential Investors or Partners upon request on the platform. For this, Investors will need to 1) Register 2) Log In and 3) contact Project Developers on a respective project via the chat function. Once the Project Developer has unblocked the project, Investors and Partners will be able to see and analyse all detail project information.
After initial registration of a Project Developer / Project, the Carbexx team will screen the legitimacy of the organisation and will assess the viability of the project through the Carbexx Project Ranking. Through this approach Carbexx aims to give Investors a guidance on the track record, credibility and quality of projects and Project Developers.
On Carbexx, Project Developers and Project Owners have the full power over their respective project information. It can therefore happen, that a Project Developer is not aiming to disclose project information to all interested parties. You can either try to contact him again or move on to an alternative project.
